Most MX experience days will send you out on a 125cc machine, which to an experienced road rider, might sound like it’ll be too small but on a tight and twisty motocross track, a 125cc MX bike is plenty quick enough.
There are loads of well-established circuits up and down the UK, most cater for complete beginners and some host national competitions.
If you want to get involved, booking an experience day will give you a taste of the skills (and muscles) you need to perform well off-road. You might even fancy buying your own bike and going racing by the time you hand the bike back at the end of the day.
